I mean seriously, the specs call for a diesel-electric hybrid capable of 155mph governed top speed, better-than-Prius fuel consumption rate and a 0.22 drag coefficient that's "developed with know-how from Formula 1". I was slightly appalled that the brunette was blurred out in one of those press photos. What, you took an entire person out of the depth of field just so we'll focus on that sweet sweet car? Never!
Oh wait... she's in focus in the other photos. My bad, yo.
But I am sure you'll agree, this car raises more question than she answers. Why does she look like a pissed-off kitty, with her ears high and eyes glaring? How many vital organs do I have to sell on the black/grey/transparent market to get one of these? Why wasn't there a redhead? BMW, inquiring minds want to know!

Well, I have been saying for years that if a decent diesel-powered hybrid sports car came out, I'd buy it. I kinda was expecting Porsche to do it first, but if BMW preempts them, I won't complain.
Glass gull-wing doors are a nice touch.
Oh, and I think I might pick that one over the R8... If only it ever actually materialized in this sexy shape.
Meh, Porsche's too busy playing house with VW to come out with new concepts. Except that 4-door Panorama, which I think is wrong on so many levels. But I am sure with time, it'll look "okay" just like the Cayenne.
Actually, nah the Cayenne still looks jacked up. Literally.
I am crossing all my fingers and limbs that this goes to mass production as is. It's already got a 0.22 Cd - BMW can't pull a Volt and say the production vehicle needed to be tweaked for aerodynamic reasons.
Oh I am sure the R8 would have its hands full with this angry kitty...
